The “Big House”

Spring 2021 The property has two houses on it, the main house and the tenant house. For obvious reasons we called the main house, the “Big House” and the tenant house, the “Little House.” The Big House requires mostly updating, but the original shag carpet had to go. We ended up completing this project ourselves prior to even moving in. We made do with the one small, working shower for the first few months while waiting for the contractors and completely demoed the two upstairs bathrooms. We added our personal touches to help us make this house feel more like home. However, most of our energy and time has gone into taking care of the farm and preparing the field for lavender and renovating the “Little House.” We have big plans for the “Big House” in future years once we get the farm up and running!
